About Max Steinberg

Staff Sergeant Max Steinberg (1990-2014) moved to Israel to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Fighting on the front lines during Operation Protective Edge, Max fell in battle on July 20, 2014.

Rising Anti-Israel and Anti-Semitic Sentiment on Campus

The reality is clear: Universities are now hostile environments for many Jewish and pro-Israel students, and if students are uninformed, they become vulnerable to the vitriolic narratives being disseminated by these anti-Israel groups.

The Max Steinberg Israel Public Diplomacy Program

In response to the growing anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiments being spread on university campuses, the Jeff Seidel Student Center has launched The Max Steinberg Israel Public Diplomacy Program. The program aims to arm students with the information, context and perspective needed to become ambassadors for Israel on university campuses.

Ignite

Spark Jewish Pride on campuses

Advocate

Provide participants with facts to discuss and share as advocates for Israel with peers at their home university campuses

Educate

Educate participants through presentations by communication experts, media analysts, IDF representatives and survivors of terror attacks

Connect

Connect participants with local Israel advocacy groups upon their return to their universities
